Emil Brix

Emil Brix holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Vienna, a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences, and a former member of the Austrian Scholars’ Management Club in London, since 2002 – Ambassador, Head of the Department of Cultural Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, and since 2009 – Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in London. In the field of public affairs, Emil Brix is ​​Head of the Ways to Civil Society in Austria, Vice-President of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe, Member of the International Council of International Centers in Krakow, Secretary General of the Austrian Research Society, Honorary Member of the Institute. German studies at the University of London, lecturer at the Universities of Vienna and Krakow, and finally the publisher of a series of books, Civil Society in Austria. Author of numerous scientific and journalistic articles and more than 20 books.
