Vladimir Gavrilov

Major General of the Reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Gavrilov was born in Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region of Ukraine. Higher education, professional military. In 2015, Volodymyr Gavrilov was appointed Attaché for Defense of Ukraine in the United States. For the next three years, he was actively involved in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of defense between our countries and receiving assistance in repelling Russian aggression. After his release to reserve in 2018, Vladimir Gavrilov began to actively engage in no less important problem – the sports rehabilitation of seriously wounded soldiers. First of all, he drew attention to those soldiers who suffered injuries, amputations, lost their sight. In the summer of 2019, Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on behalf of US President Donald Trump was awarded the Legion of Honor. awarded to servicemen of the United States Armed Forces, as well as to servicemen of friendly states for exceptional and outstanding merits and achievements in service in extraordinary conditions. He currently heads the Veterans’ Ten Charitable Foundation.
